Intellectual property and counterfeiting

EURATECHNOLOGIES SEML owns either the intellectual property or the usage rights to all items accessible on the site including text, images, graphics, logos, icons, sound and software.

Any reproduction, representation, change, publication or adaptation of all or any part of the site, by whatever means, is prohibited without prior written agreement from EURATECHNOLOGIES SEML.

Any unauthorised use of this site or its contents will constitute an infringement and will be prosecuted in accordance with the provisions of articles L.335-2 et seq of the Intellectual Property Code.

Limitation of Liability

EURATECHNOLOGIES SEML is not liable for any direct or consequential damage to the user’s equipment when accessing EURATECHNOLOGIES SEML resulting either from using equipment that does not meet the specifications set out in clause 4, or due to a bug or any incompatibility.

EURATECHNOLOGIES SEML is not liable for any consequential loss (such as loss of market share or loss of opportunity) resulting from use of www.euratechnologies.com.

EURATECHNOLOGIES SEML reserves the right to remove, without prior notice, any content posted in that section which violates French law, particularly data protection provisions. If applicable, EURATECHNOLOGIES SEML reserves the right to hold the user civilly and/or criminally liable, especially where they have made racist, offensive, defamatory or pornographic posts in any form (text, photos etc.).

Personal Data

In France, personal data is protected by Law No 78-87 of 6 January 1978, Law No 2004-801 of 6 August 2004, article L.226-13 of the Criminal Code and European Directive of 24 October 1995.

When using www.euratechnologies.com the following information may be collected: URL links used to access www.euratechnologies.com, users’ internet provider, users’ internet protocol (IP) address.

In any case, EURATECHNOLOGIES SEML only collects the users’ personal information required for certain services. The user provides this information freely when he enters the information directly himself.  The user is then made aware of the obligation or not to provide this information.

In accordance with articles 38 et seq of Law No 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to computers and data protection, every user has the right to access, correct, or remove their personal data by sending a signed written request, together with a signed copy of proof of identity, stating the address to which the reply should be sent.

No personal data is published, exchanged, transferred, assigned or sold in any format to third parties without the user’s knowledge. Only the sale of EURATECHNOLOGIES SEML would allow transmission of such information to the purchaser who would be under the same obligations regarding the conservation and modification of personal data.

This site is not registered with the CNIL because it does not collect any personal data.

Databases are protected by the provisions of Law of 1 July 1998, enacting Directive 96/9 of 11 March 1996 on database protection.

The www.euratechnologies.com site contains a number of links to other sites which have been set up with permission of EURATECHNOLOGIES SEML. However, EURATECHNOLOGIES SEML cannot check the linked sites’ content and cannot be held liable in this regard.
