The decision to design and lay out the new eco-district along the banks of the Haute Deûle was driven by the desire to limit the use of cars and encourage the use of public transportation and other more eco-friendly modes of transportation. These objectives have translated into amenities that limit car space and focus on bike paths and pedestrian traffic. In addition to the nearby metro station (Canteleu stop on line 2), there are also bus lines (line 18, EuraTechnologies stop), self-service bicycles (a V’Lille terminal), in addition to business and inter-company travel solutions.

The objective: limit the use of cars in favor of public transportation and eco-friendly transportation.
